The monthly box includes 3 high-quality picture books (for ages 3-7) or board books (for ages 0-2) that feature diverse characters and information about the month’s book, theme, and donations.

We donate one book to Bernie’s Book Bank for every book we sell. Bernie’s Book Bank then distributes those books to underserved children attending Title 1 schools in the Chicagoland area. You can learn more by going to our Donations page.

It depends on how long you pre-pay for, and on which age range you select. Our cheapest option is $24.99 a month.

For the picture book box, $4.95 to anywhere in the United States. For the board book box, $6.35 to anywhere in the United States. We also ship all over the world, although those rates are subject to your location.

We accept all major credit card providers,  PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

You can cancel at anytime by logging into your customer dashboard. You can access the customer dashboard here.

Subscriptions renew on the fifteenth of every month. You must order your subscription by the fifteenth to receive that month’s box.

We ship all boxes on or around the 20th of every month. Please note that with recent shipping and supply chain issues, boxes are subject to delay.

The books are for ages 0-7. We offer two subscription options: one for ages 0-2 and one for ages 3-7. We hope in the near future to expand our offerings to other age ranges (including chapter books and board books); stay posted by subscribing to our email list.

The vast majority of our books are hardcover books, and there will be at least two hardcover books in every box. We focus on sending you the best stories, some of which may be in paperback form.

Yes! Our box and packaging materials are completely recyclable.

Yes! Check out with your first subscription, then simply go back to the “Subscribe” page while logged in, and order the second subscription. Both will then be housed in your account.

Yes! Toggle the gift button at checkout, and you’ll be asked whether or not you would like the subscription to renew after the initial period.

You can update your address by logging into your personal account here. Once you log in, click on “Manage” under My Subscriptions on the front page. You can then edit your address from that page.
